DIY Marble Paint Pour Canvas

Happy August everyone and welcome back!

Today’s DIY is super fun and a little bit messy. Paint pour is super trendy right now so I figured I would show you guys how to do it yourself!

Supplies needed:
TWO or more white canvases
Multiple colors of paint of your choice
Plastic Cup

Step one!
You’ll need to prop your canvases up on something sturdy so the paint can drip down. I used some of my extra disposable plastic cups, but you can use just about anything!

Pour your paints!
This part isn’t very hard at all, all your going to do is start slowing pouring and transitioning different paints in your plastic cup until you have your desired amount. I filled mine about half way, it really just depends on how much you want to fill your canvas.

POUR!
Now is the part where you let your imagination take over! I decided I wanted to create a more abstract, dragged across look, so I kept my paint very minimal and just in certain areas. You can pour it all on the canvas or do a design, the possibilities are endless!

As you can see here, I just started pouring more and more and layering until I got the desired amount on my canvas.

Now it’s time to make a mess!
You can tilt the canvas to manipulate the direction and intensity that the paint starts spreading at. It’s truly mesmerizing! If you want to cut your clean up time in half, place a tarp or plastic drop cloth underneath your work area! Let your canvas sit and dry for at least 24 hours!

Here’s what both of mine turned out like, I am OBSESSED! The best part about these is that you’ve now created a unique piece of art that no one has a copy of! Remember - If you create this or any other DIY’s of ours, make sure to use #kaylapiersonteam so we can share the love!
Until next time!
